First professional project: Storyboarding at Ruby Spears on THE PUPPY'S NEW ADVENTURES, and RUBIC'S CUBE.
Dream project: Writing and illustrating comics using my own stories and characters.
Favorite personal project to date: Two different one-man shows, with new artwork done for each. RECYCLED EROTICA at the One Way, June - November '89; FREE ART at A Different Light bookstore, January 1992/ July 1993.
Work outside of comics: Storyboarding/Directing in Television Animation. Storyboarding on: GHOSTBUSTERS, RAINBOW BRITE, ALF, ALFTAILS, COPS, CAPTAIN PLANET, BATMAN, BIKER MICE FROM MARS, GARGOYLES, MEN IN BLACK, TARZAN, ATLANTIS, STATIC SHOCK, and STRIPPERELLA. Directing on: CAPTAIN SIMIAN AND THE SPACE MONKEYS, SPAWN for which I won an Emmy, GODZILLA, BLUES BROTHERS, THE ROSWELL CONSPIRACIES. Pornographic Illustrations for DRUMMER, IN TOUCH FOR MEN, CHIRON RISING, and FIRST HAND ('84- '91).
First introduction to comics: Archie Comics and Mad Magazine, back in the mid '60's.
Most influential comics/creators on your life or career: Neal Adams, Hiyiao Miyazaki, Alfred Hitchcock, Robert Crumb, Harvey Kurtzman, Alex Toth, Ernst Lubitsch, Val Lewton, Milton Caniff, Jack Kirby, Bernie Krigstein, Jaime Hernandez, Bruce Timm, Kevin Altieri.
Current favorite comic: AMAZING SCREW ON HEAD

How do you spend your time when not working on comics? Storyboarding TV animation.

One person you'd like to meet: Alex Toth
What comic book character would you like to be, and why? Mr. Natural. He has it sussed. No one puts anything over on him.

Last good book you read: MEMORIES, DREA, AND REFLECTIONS by Carl Jung.

What aspect of the comics medium draws you to work in it? The combination of words and pictures. The possibility of working with a mimimum creative interference. The chance of making a name for myself instead of working in near anonymity on other people's projects.
Does your queerness impact your work? Very little. Is there a "heterosexual sensibility"?
