First Pro work: "Lettering for Warp #18, Dec. 1984, First Comics;
my first pro work for which I actually drew something was in New Talent
Showcase # 13, Jan 1985, DC Comics."
Dream Project: "Right now I'm doing my current dream project,
Age of Bronze. I haven't thought ahead yet to the next one."

project, but of projects I've already completed, my favorite is The Forgotten

to comic strip of which I'm sure I saw plenty in the newspaper. The
first real comic book I remember was an adaptation of Disney's movie
version of Bambi, but I may have seen Children's Digest's serialization
of Herge's Tintin adventure The Seven Crystal Balls first."
Favorite comic of all time: "Little Nemo in Slumberland. Or
maybe Pogo. Or maybe Blueberry. Or maybe Big Numbers. Or maybe . . ."
Comics you currently read: "Cerebus, Penny Century, Luba,
Eightball, Akiko, Black Hole, Measles, Ernie Pook's Comeek, Berlin,
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, just about anything by Chester Brown,
Ed Brubaker, and Steven Weissman."
One person you'd like to meet: "Whoever has my original art
from An Accidental Death."
Last good movie you saw: "Camille"
Last good book you read: "Celebrating Homer's Landscapes"
by J. V. Luce"
Celebrity you would have "for a night": "The actor who
played Hippolytus in the French film version of Racine's Phedre."
Favorite gay character: "Achilles"
