CDs you're listening to now: WASHBOARD STORY, a compilation of jazz from the 20s and 30s.

What aspect of the comics medium draws you to work in it? I'm facinated by simple visual icons and words, what happens when they come together.

What does the phrase "gay sensibility" mean to you? I look at my queerness and see aspects of identity and validation that any person, gay or straight deals with.

Does your queerness impact your work? My comics, not my other artwork.

What advice do you have for aspiring comics creators? Just get started.

Comics career highlights: Publishing my first comic book T-GINA #1.
