CREATORS

STEPHEN SADOWSKI

First pro work: I guess the first official pro work would be be FIrearm #13 from Malibu Comics. It was a lot of fun and coincidentally my first work with James Robinson. I did half the issue, and was not credited. For those interested, I drew the fight sequence in the peach orchard.

Dream project: I have said many times in the past that my dream project is to work on The Titans. My dreams may have been answered, because I've recently been told that a JSA/Titans crossover is in the works, tentatively scheduled for issue #30!!!

Favorite Project of your own: I would say JSA although I really enjoyed working on Starman. That book felt really "right" for me.

First comic ever read: WOW!!! Tough one!!! UMMMMM?The first comic I remember buying myself is the original Star Wars comic. But my Mother had been buying me comics from garage sales previously. I honestly don't recall my "first time."

Favorite comic of all time: HMMM....I really loved the Perez Titans. What is it about the Titans? They have a huge gay fandom!!!

Comics currently read: Well, I'm assuming you mean enjoy because I read everything DC puts out. Thanks be to the Comp Gods!! Ummmmm....Avengers, Authority (with Hitch), Astro City, Preacher, Nightwing...God, there's a lot that I really enjoy!

One person you'd like to meet: George Perez because he really started the juices going for me.

Last good movie you saw: Gladiator. Whew, that's an awesome movie! I saw the sneak preview, and it totally blew me away. Well, Ridley Scott, what needs to be said?

Last good book you read: I recently reread "The Little Prince." I always pick it up when I'm in need of a little reality check.

Billy or Carlos? (the first gay dolls): Carlos. But he's gotta be in the right outfit!

Celebrity you would have for a night: Russell Crowe these days. Hey, I said I enjoyed the film, right? If you haven't seen it, you'll see what I mean!

Favorite gay character: Oh God, what's his name? The gyno doctor from "Tales of the City?" John? Mouse's boyfriend, anyway—him.
