First professional project: A monthly comic for Zizo, a Belgian gay magazine.
Dream project: A comic version of Stephen Fry's novel THE HIPPOPATAMUS.
Favorite personal project to date: MAX AND SVEN, a story about a boy who falls in love with his best friend.
Work outside of comics: Some TV stuff and co-author of a theater piece.
First introduction to comics: God knows. Probably JOMMEKE, or SUSKE EN WISKE, both well know Flemish comics for children. Everyone below the age of 12 reads them.
Most influential comics/creators on your life or career: Willy Vandersteen, Hergé, Franquin, Cauvin, Gerrit De Jager, Theo Van den Boogaard, Wim T. Schippers, Dodier, Jim Meddick, Hec Leemans, Ralf König
Current favorite comic: MONTY
How do you spend your time when not working on comics? Reading novels and watching TV.
Favorite LGBT character in any media: Ltn. Gruber from ALLO ALLO.
One person you'd like to meet: Stephen Fry

What aspect of the comics medium draws you to work in it? The story-telling.
Does your queerness impact your work? Yes, most comics I make evolve around gay characters.
Comics career highlights: My first KID CITY book, although every new book is a highlight.
