Thanks for the tip, Joe, that’s a really nice interview – I first read Stuck Rubber Baby in the early 2000′s, and boy did that move me. It’s still one of the very very few comics that made me choke, and I recommend it to readers EVERYTIME I get the chance. I’m so glad it’s getting a new edition (I’ll probably buy it because it will look GORGEOUS on HC), and I do hope it gets the attention it deserves, because it’s simply too important a book to go unnoticed.
Best,
J.
Your welcome, James! We probably read SRB around the same time, and it had a similar reaction with me. Really powerful story and though the settings and events are from the 60s, the story is still (sadly) relevant today. Maybe I’ll donate my soft cover to my local library…unless it orders a new hardcover.
Thanks for stopping by again, Jim!
