One of the most popular features of Gayleague in its previous incarnation was its member profiles. Before social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace became popular, LGBT comic fans could create a personalized profile page.

The original member profiles section was closed to new profiles and updates  after the security breach last March. After a lot of thought, it was decided to discontinue hosting profiles directly on site.  The motivating factors were a lack of features and security problems, the latter doesn’t mean anything to the typical site visitor.  Using a social networking site like KickApps with its numerous features  seemed to be the way to go.

For a variety of reasons, it became apparent that even archiving the original remaining profiles was problematic. They have all been deleted. If you had a profile and no longer have copies of images that were on it, you may contact Joe at glajoe at gayleague dot com to ask for copies.  Please include relevant info such as profile name.

Original profile holders are encouraged to create new profiles.
